Our Campus Gallery, located on the top floor, Elaine Langone Center on the campus of Bucknell University, is now open Wednesday – Saturday, 12 – 5 p.m.
The Samek Art Museum welcomes you to our Fall season. Our galleries are open with new safety precautions, including requiring masks and limiting attendance to a couple of visitors at a time (it’s like having the museum to yourself!) Samek galleries provide a drop-in “asynchronous” learning space that does not require gathering crowds. All events and programs will move online, so check museum.bucknell.edu after your visit. As we look to science to tackle our current pandemic, history has shown that art can help get us through times of crisis by providing opportunities for reflection, connection, and inspiration.
Come check out our exhibition, do it is the longest-running and most far-reaching exhibition to ever happen, giving new meaning to the concept of the “Exhibition in Progress.” do it takes written instructions by international artists as a point of departure, which are then freshly interpreted and locally enacted by members of our campus and community.
do it (home) is curated by Hans Ulrich Obrist and produced by Independent Curators International (ICI)
