Continuing Creativity
This show features artworks by local individuals who, although past the usually accepted retirement date, possess the passion to create in a variety of media. The intent of this exhibition is to showcase the work of people who would not be generally considered professional artists in the sense that they did not make their principal living through the type of creative work featured in this show and, yet, whose rich experience elevates their craft. What we hope will become apparent is that each of these artists is attempting to express their artistic impulses in ways that are satisfying to them, unfettered by the marketplace, but which also allow them to communicate with others through their continuing creativity.
Guest-curated by Gary Sojka.
