Join us following the lecture for the opening reception of Superwoman at 7 p.m. The reception will be held at the Samek Art Museum Downtown at 416 Market Street, Lewisburg, PA.

Biography:

Le’Andra LeSeur is a multidisciplinary artist working across video, installation, photography, painting, and performance. Celebrating Blackness, queerness, and femininity, her work challenges systems of power while exploring identity, family, Black grief and joy, invisibility, and the act of taking up space as a queer Black woman. Through the presence of her body and voice, LeSeur rejects stereotypes that marginalize these identities and gestures toward liberation and transcendence.
