Modeled from the Japanese presentation methodology Pecha Kucha, this year’s student panel will give each artist an opportunity to briefly speak about his or her works feature in Splintered: 2013 Student Exhibition. The format of the panel will be fast-paced, only lending 20 seconds per slide, and will conclude with a question and answer segment! After the panel we invited friends, family, and guests to enjoy a reception in the Samek Art Gallery to celebrate Splintered, which is the culmination of yearlong collaboration between the artists, the Samek Art Gallery, and the Art and Art History Department at Bucknell University.
