Open to all skill levels, this drawing workshop will explore open-ended ideas of form, space, visual thoughts, relationships, and connections as it pertains to the work of Cliff Hengst. In a series of guided drawing meditations utilizing pencil, ink, and watercolor, attendees will engage in notions of letter forms, abstract moods, visual beats, and wordplay to discover new and interesting pathways of personal creativity. An open mind and a sense of humor a must. Non-artists or those new to drawing are especially encouraged to participate.
Scott Hewicker is a painter, writer, and amateur clairvoyant based in San Francisco. He has taught painting and drawing at Stanford University, California College of the Arts, and The Jean Henry School of Art.
