On Friday Oct. 11, the latest in our “Do It Fridays!” series was hosted in the Gallery. This event consisted of interpreting the instructions in a process-based artwork by Robert Ashley. This artwork instructed one to reproduce one or more of the photos included in the instructions. Bucknell artist Jessie Horning chose to reproduce the peach pie picture, aided by Bucknell staff Stacey Sommerfield and photographer Sanh Tran, and to extrapolate this image into depicting an event rather than merely an object. The result was a peach pie party in the gallery! See pics below….
