    The Art and Science of Addiction with Sandra Cook, CRNP, Aug. 19

    Tiffany Demmon, Public Programs & Outreach Manager, interviews Sandra Cook, CRNP about Opioid Use Disorder.  This event is in conjunction with the exhibition Learning From Naloxone by artist Adam DelMarcelle currently at our Downtown Gallery.

    Sandra Cook, CRNP, will speak about overcoming stigma as a barrier to care for Opioid Use Disorder. Many people are not seeking treatment because of the stigma that those with addiction are considered “less than” or that addiction is a choice. Addiction is a chronic medical disease like Diabetes, COPD, Hypertension. This event is in conjunction with the exhibition Learning from Naloxone by artist Adam DelMarcelle.
