Utagawa Kuniyoshi was a pupil of Toyokuni. Last great Ukioy-e artists in Japan and founder of the Utagawa school.

Color woodcut depicting actor Bando Shuka I as Fushi Hime, the lady of Satomi, with a child actor as Inuye Shimbei, a scene from the play “Satomi Hakkenden” performed at the Ichimura Theatre; published by Ise-ya Chusuke.
